Wesley D. Clement
Wesley D. Clement, MD has been serving Charlotte for over 42 years in the practice of Ophthalmology and Refractive surgical procedures. He began performing IOL Implantation in 1977, Radial Keratotomy from 1990-97 and has limited his expertise and experience to Laser-vision Refractive procedures since 2001. Carolinas Eye Center and MedSpa is now celebrating 16 years of Laser-vision corrective procedures only with over 25,000 laser-vison procedures having been performed here at our state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Clement is the past president of the Charlotte Ophthalmology Society and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine.
Dr. Clement has been performing laser tattoo removal since 2012. He began tattoo removal with the Revlite and has upgraded his practice in tattoo removal by incorporating the Enlighten by Cutera. Enlighten uses both pico and nano technology to remove the tattoo faster and eliminate hard to treat colors such as reds, greens, and blues.
I have worked with Dr. Clement and Carolinas Eye Center since it opened 16 years ago as a Surgical Technician. I am certified with the VISX S4 IR excimer laser, and have assisted in several thousand laser vision correction procedures. I am currently Office Manager, and I can assist you in preparing for your Lasik experience as well as assisting you with whatever financial needs you may have. I began with Dr. Clement 6 years ago as an Aesthetic assistant. I have been trained to perform Microdermabrasion and Hydra facials, assisting with Botox and Dermal filler injections. I truly love what I do and enjoy helping patients to look and feel better about their appearance. I was born in Ecuador but have lived in the U.S. for 30 years.I am bilingual in Spanish and English.
